Role and Responsibilities
As a designer for the Production Engineering Team at Husky Technologies, my primary responsibility was providing detailed mechanical support to the shop floor and assisting the electrical design team in the manufacturing of custom injection molding machines (IMM). This role was critical in ensuring the final machine configuration met both internal production standards and stringent client specifications, particularly for Watercom LTD, a handful of projects I served as the lead designer on.

Key Contributions
My work involved extensive use of Siemens NX and AutoCAD for machine layout, part detailing, and generating blueprints for the manufacturing floor in addition to Eplan for Hydraulic and Electrical Schematics. Specific contributions included:
- Mechanical Design: Modifying and detailing large-scale machine components (e.g., platens, injection units) to accommodate specialized tooling and utilities.
- Electrical Support: Generating and reviewing electrical schematics for proper sensor, heater, and motor integration based on machine modifications.
- Tolerance Analysis: Conducting critical tolerance stack-up analysis to guarantee component fit and machine longevity under high stress.
